Layout Name text box

The name of the layout.

Application Name list

The name of the application for which the layout was created. For example, Law Enforcement Field Mobile.

Device Type list

The type of device for which the layout was created. For example, Phone or Tablet.

Search button

Clicking this button runs the search for layouts using the information entered/selected in the filter fields.

You can also press <Enter> on your device's keyboard to run the search.

Clear button

Clicking this button clears information entered/selected in the filter fields and the filtered results in the Layouts grid.

+ New  button

Opens the New Layout page, which is used to create a new layout. 

Export Results  button

Exports the information from the Layouts grid into a spreadsheet and downloads it to your device.

Show/Hide Columns  button

Opens a menu containing check boxes that correspond with the columns on the Layouts grid. When a check box is selected, its column displays in the grid.

View  button

For layouts created by Tyler Technologies personnel, the View  button displays in the Actions column of the grid. Although clicking this button opens the Edit Layout page, layouts created by Tyler Technologies personnel cannot be edited. However, you can still view information about its configuration. 

The Edit Layout page can also be accessed by double clicking a layout on the grid. 

Edit  button

For layouts created by your agency, the Edit  button displays in the Actions column of the Layouts grid. Clicking this button opens the Edit Layout page, which is used to view and edit the selected layout.

Delete  button

For layouts created by your agency, the Delete  button displays in the Actions column of the grid. Clicking this button opens a confirmation message, which asks you to confirm that you want to delete the selected layout. Click Delete to complete the action.
