Mobility - Settings - Law Enforcement Field Mobile Settings - Map Provider Section

This help topic contains descriptions of the fields that display in the Map Provider section. Click the section's header to expand or collapse it.

When finished adding/editing information, click the Save button

The Map Provider Name list is used to select the map provider used for the Overview Map and Route Map widgets. If ESRI - Local is selected, note that you must upload an .MMPK map file to the Mobility Portal - either by dragging a file into the gray box or clicking the Select file button.  

After selecting an .MMPK map file to upload, the following occurs:

• If the .MMPK map file is 500 MB or larger, a warning message displays, notifying you that the map file you are trying to upload is too large. The upload process does not complete and you must choose a smaller file.

• If the .MMPK map file is 300 MB or larger (but less than 500 MB), a warning message displays, notifying you that uploading large map files can cause performance issues when using Law Enforcement Field Mobile. 

• If the .MMPK map file is 299 MB or smaller, the upload process completes, and no warning messages display.

You can download an uploaded .MMPK file to your device by clicking the Download button.
